This policy explains what personal information Labyrinth Works collects, why, and what you can do about it. In this policy, "we" and "us" mean Labyrinth Works LLC, a Connecticut limited liability company.
1. This website
This website does not use cookies, analytics, advertising or tracking scripts, and it has no forms. The only thing stored in your browser is your light or dark theme choice, which never leaves your device.
The site is hosted by Cloudflare. Like any web host, Cloudflare processes technical information such as your IP address and browser type to deliver pages and protect the site from abuse. See the Cloudflare privacy policy.
2. When you email us
If you write to us, we receive your email address, name if you include it, and whatever is in your message. We use it to reply and keep it as a record of the conversation. Email to our address is routed through Cloudflare and stored with our email provider.
3. When you buy a product
Online purchases are processed by Paddle.com, our reseller and merchant of record. Paddle collects your payment and billing details directly. We never see or store your full card number. Paddle shares with us what we need to provide the product and support you: your name, email address, country, what you bought and the order status. See the Paddle privacy policy.
If you support a product on Patreon, Patreon processes your payment and shares your name, email and membership tier with us. See the Patreon privacy policy.
4. Using a product
Each product has its own privacy policy on its own website, covering the data that product handles. That policy applies when you use the product.
5. Freelance clients
For freelance work we keep the contact and billing details needed to do the work and send invoices, plus project correspondence. Anything you give us access to for a project is used only for that project.
6. What we do not do
We do not sell or rent personal information, and we do not share it for advertising. We share it only with the service providers named above, as needed to run the business, or when the law requires it.
7. How long we keep it
We keep correspondence for as long as it is useful for supporting you, and purchase and invoice records for as long as tax and accounting law requires, usually seven years. You can ask us to delete anything we are not required to keep.
8. Your rights
You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, correct it, delete it, or receive a copy. Depending on where you live, including the European Union, the United Kingdom and California, you may have further rights under local law. Email hello@labyrinthworksllc.com and we will respond within 30 days. You can also complain to your local data protection authority.
9. Children
This site and our products are not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.
10. Security
We use reputable providers, encrypted connections and access controls to protect the information we hold. No system is perfectly secure, and we will tell you promptly if a breach affects your information.
11. Changes
If we change this policy we will update the effective date above. Significant changes will be noted on this page.
